Interests

Evolutionary developmental biology, Systems Biology, Mathematical biology

Life is fundamentally robust. Biological processes across all scales of life are capable of preserving their function in the face of noise, whether it be due to mutation, environmental fluctuations, or the stochasticity of molecular biology. The development of the embryo is no exception.
